HOW TO USE THIS SITE
We hope that you will find this to be a valuable resource that you can
use again and again. There is no "right" or "wrong"
way to make use of this site, but you may find it helpful to know a little
more about the information contained here to guide you in its use.
Sefton Borough Partnership
is responsible for developing the "vision" for the future
of Sefton. There are eight "thematic subgroups" which report
directly to the Borough Partnership. In turn, informing these subgroups
are a number of strategic planning groups - for example, the
Children
& Young People's Strategic Partnership Board, or the
Learning Disabilities Partnership Board. As you can imagine, planning
services for children or for people with learning disabilities means taking
a "cross-cutting" approach to the themes. As its working practices
become more established, the Borough Partnership will become the central
"hub" of a vast information network, sharing information between
different planning groups and different communities within Sefton.
Searching the website
Key areas of work are identified for each group, along with a list of
members, and (where appropriate) the special interests of those members.
You might want to know more about the services being developed to support
older people with mental health problems. You can look within the index
for the name of the planning group that addresses mental health issues
and older people's issues.
Alternatively, you could look at the thematic index which identifies
the groups that are working to support health and well-being, and from
that identify the groups working to support older people's issues and
mental health issues.
You should be able to identify which of the groups addresses the issue
you want to know more about by reading the brief descriptions of their
aims.
Where members of planning groups have identified a special interest,
it may be possible for you to identify an individual contact person. Where
special interests are not identified, you may be able to identify the
"voluntary and community sector network participant" - these
are the people representing the four key voluntary and community sector
forums. The network participant may be able to help you - but, if not,
they should be able to direct you to someone who can.
How can we help make the website even better?
We have made this website for you - if it isn't "user-friendly",
or doesn't give you the information you want, then we need to know! Please
complete the evaluation form to let us know
what you think of the Pack.
We intend to update the Pack annually, but we need your help to do this.
Please use the amendment form to contact us if the details of your planning
group have changed - or if you're a member of a group which you think
should be included in a future version of the Pack.
It is important that you let us know quickly as possible about any changes
we need to make. This information will be also available as a paper version.
Although any changes to the paper version can only be made on an annual
basis, changes to the web version of the Pack can be made almost overnight!
This Pack is a product of the good will of all the
partners involved in making Sefton a better place to live work and do
business.
