ABOUT THIS SITE

Welcome to the second edition of the Partnership and Planning Group website.

This website has been developed and updated through the Community Empowerment Fund's Steering Group to reflect the changes that have taken place in the strategic planning structures in Sefton in the last eighteen months.

The website is intended as a tool for members of the Voluntary and Community Sector in Sefton, helping them to engage fully in the regeneration and future development of Sefton, by providing information about the partnerships and planning groups involved in strategic planning and policy making within the borough.

The Sefton Borough Partnership (SBP) continues its key role in providing the direction for development of the borough. As the structure of the Partnership and its thematic sub-groups evolves, the voluntary and community sector are becoming increasingly involved in the shaping of services and policy in Sefton.

The site provides information on the major partners involved from the different sectors and various partnerships and planning groups. This information will allow voluntary and community sector organisations to identify which partnerships, and in some cases which individuals, they can contact to raise or respond to specific issues.

Information is only useful if it is up to date! Please let us know of any changes to the information on this website as soon as possible.

This pack is also available as a paper copy, please contact the Network Development Team for more information.
